Asparagus & Tomatoes with Balsamic

Yields 4 servings (3/4 c. each)

Ingredients
2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
2 tsp. fresh garlic, minced
1.5 lbs fresh asparagus spears
4 oz vine-ripe tomatoes, diced
.5 tsp. fresh thyme
.5 tsp. fresh basil
1 tbsp. Balsamic vinegar
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
Heat olive oil in pan. Add the minced garlic and saute until fragrant.

Add asparagus and saute until bright green. Add diced tomatoes with its juice, herbs and seasonings. Continue to cook until asparagus is tender. Add Balsamic vinegar and cook until asparagus is heated through.
