Banana Flax Granola Bars

Yields 4 servings


1½ cups rolled oats
½ cup slivered almonds, crushed
2 tablespoons wheat germ
4 tablespoons ground flaxseeds
1 tablespoon cinnamon
½ cup carob chips
2 tablespoons honey
1 banana, mashed
1 egg
½ cup almond milk


Preheat oven to 350º. Mix all dry ingredients together. Add honey, banana, egg, and almond milk. Spread evenly in baking dish lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until browned.
